Value procurement commitments in the upstream oil and gas sector to November 2012 amounted to 13.74 billion U.S. dollars.

Of that amount, the value of the level of domestic content (TDKN) 63 percent, or about 8.5 billion U.S. dollars.

In 2011, commitments procurement 11.81 billion U.S. dollars, to the level of domestic content of 61 percent.

This was conveyed by Deputy General, Task Force while the Upstream Oil and Gas (SK Gas) Gerhard M Rumeser, Tuesday (12/25/2012), in Jakarta.

According to Gerhard, the use of domestic components for procurement of 7.06 billion dollars, while for the procurement of goods 1.53 billion U.S. dollars.

"We are constantly committed to improving DCL every year," he added.

Gerhard said it encourages the involvement of state-owned enterprises (SOEs). This marked increase in the value of the procurement of goods and services through the state.

Until November 2012 the value of the procurement of 1.69 billion U.S. dollars, this figure increased from the 2011 value of 630 million U.S. dollars.
